Nail of the Week! Pure Ice - Outrageous

This is Pure Ice's Outrageous. I really don't know when it was that I got this polish. It reminded me of a lighter version of OPI's Meet Me On The Star Ferry (it was on my ring finger). It's a beautiful color. Almost like a mauvy purple. I'm bad at describing.
It dried really fast and had great application. If you haven't tried it, you should!
What was your nail polish of the week?

Nail of the Day - China Glaze Riveting!

I already sort of previewed this in my first post. But I just love this color so I decided to do a solo post over it.
It's a beautiful bright orange. It's from the Hunger Games Capitol Colours collection. It definitely captures the whole "girl on fire" deal.

It has a sparkle to it that really brings this color to life. The application was great. This is just an overall great color to have.

Nail of the Day - China Glaze Fast Track!

This is a beautiful neutral color from the China Glaze Capitol Colours collection!
This is one coat

This is two coats

Great application! I feel colors that are more sheer tend to apply better and dry faster, it makes sense. I feel this is a really elegant color, almost like having a french manicure. The gold shimmer is beautiful. I think I have found a new favorite :D

Nail of the Week! China Glaze - Salsa!

This is China Glaze's Salsa. It is a medium red. The picture doesn't show exactly what the polish looks like as the polish it a bit darker than what is photographed.
I have been wearing this polish for six days without a top coat. It has very little signs of wear. I think it's a great color! The application was great. Overall great polish.

Nail of the Week! NYC Glossies 237

This is a pretty fuschia color.

The name gets it right, it is super glossy and smooth. The color payoff is great. This picture shows two coats of polish. The application was great. The polish dried quickly. I painted my nails Friday afternoon for a banquet and since then it has had a teeny bit of tip wear. Other than that, this polish is really great.

Nail of the Week!

This is a pretty coraly pink polish from Bon Bons.

I feel Bons Bons is very underrated. I felt the application was very nice and fast and although it's not completely opaque in three coats, you can still see the color pretty nicely. It has little sparkles in it! I like it (:

Nail of the Week - Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow!

This week I wanted to do a yellow polish because it yelled "spring" to me (:

I chose Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. This is a great opaque yellow. I had a little problem with the application. It was a bit watery. But this is two coats, which is great for a yellow! I'm not sure I would say it's all that "mellow" though.

Nail of the Week - Hunger Games Inspired Nails!

I saw nails similar to this online and I decided I'd try my hand at it.

This is the look I created. It wasn't photographing well :\ but you get the idea!

This is Smoke and Ashes by China Glaze. This was created to represent District Twelve's mining.

It's black based and there are flecks of green glitter on top. Very hard to photograph, but the first picture kinda shows some of the more green parts of it.

And here, again, is the final look. I used Electrify by China Glaze, created to represent District Five's power. I used it to add to the fire look! It looks a lot better in person, trust me! I wore it today and got a lot of compliments (: I hope you all try a Hunger Games inspired look!

Nail of the Week!

This is ULTA's Hip Hop. It's a pretty orangy coral, great for spring! This is three coats. Two coats is pretty much the same but the line on my nail was showing through. It still shows if you look at it a certain way with three coats but no one will really notice. Such a pretty color!
